About Matthias Brandt
Matthias Brandt, born in Berlin in 1961, is a German actor and author. Since 2000, he has worked mainly for film and television, where he has been awarded all industry prizes, some of them several times. As a narrator, he has twice been awarded the German Audiobook Prize. Together with musician Jens Thomas, he has been touring the stage for several years with their improvisational word-music collages. His book debut, the short story collection "Raumpatrouille", was published in 2016, followed by his novel debut "Blackbird" in 2019.
