About Christoph Biermann
Christoph Biermann, born 1960, is a member of the editorial board of the football magazine 11FREUNDE. Before that, he worked for SPIEGEL and Süddeutsche Zeitung. He has been one of Germany’s most prominent football journalists for many years and has written numerous books on the subject of football. “Die Fußball-Matrix”, “Wenn wir vom Fußball träumen” and "Um jeden Preis. Die wahre Geschichte des modernen Fußballs von 1992 bis heute" (2023) were voted “Football book of the year”.
