About Betterov
Betterov is a songwriter with an incredibly unique and resolute style. He grew up in the theater and draws inspiration from texts from that milieu. In 2015 in Berlin, he finally found the environment where he can thrive and started regularly appearing at clubs and pubs. His songs, blurring the line between indie rock and post-punk, deal with the big issues of his generation. Betterov wrote the songs for his debut EP “Viertel vor Irgendwas” alone at home and practically every line glows with the almost outrageous talent of the 25-year-old. His 2022 debut album “Olympia”, which reached the top five, contains songs about rebelling and breaking down inner barriers. This record earned him the status of one of the most exciting newcomers in the German-language indie rock/pop scene.
