About Anna Schudt

Anna Schudt was born in 1974 in Konstanz. After training at the renowned Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts, she has performed in top theaters, including in Munich, Berlin and Düsseldorf. She received the Kurt Meisel Prize in 2002 and 2006 for her acting performances at Residenztheater in Munich. For many years, she has appeared in numerous film and television productions. She gained fame for her portrayal of investigator Martina Bönisch in the Dortmund version of the series “Tatort”, a role she left after 10 years in 2022. She won an International Emmy Award for her leading role in “The Sniffles Would Have Been Just Fine” in 2018. She also won the Bavarian Television Award and the Golden Camera for Best Actress for her role in “Aufbruch in die Freiheit” (2018). Most recently, Anna Schudt has appeared in various television productions, including the ARD historical miniseries “Little America”, the third season of the Sky production “Das Boot” and the title role in the ZDF television movie “Die Bürgermeisterin”. She plays the starring role in the ZDF production “Laufen” (2023).
