In the book, 19 influential contemporary authors explore their views of the broadening term “masculinity.” The result: courageous self-questioning, touching confessions and educational insights – a polyphonic stock-taking of a topic that needs rethinking. Publisher Donat Blum speaks with the authors Joris Bas Backerand Mithu Sanyal** about their texts and experiences. “An important collection that is radically different and puts ‘being different’ in the spotlight in a liberating manner.
