About Susanne Abel
Susanne Abel comes from a small village in southwest Germany near the French border. She started working as an educator’s assistant at the age of 17 and later worked as an educator. After training as a puppeteer, she worked in theater and then transitioned to television. She studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin and has since created numerous television documentaries as an author and director. Her novel “Stay Away from Gretchen” was released in March 2021. The author lives and works in Cologne.
