About Mona Ameziane
Born in 1994, Mona Ameziane grew up in the Ruhr region of Germany. Her father comes from Morocco and her mother from Germany. She studied journalism at TU Dortmund University. She is a presenter of radio and television shows, including the book program “Stories” on 1LIVE since 2017. “Auf Basidis Dach” [“On Basidi’s Roof”] is her first book. The book podcast “Zwei Seiten – der Podcast über Bücher”, which she co-hosts with Christine Westermann has been released on Tuesdays since June 2023. For her new show “Buch-Lounge” on ARD Kultur, she tours through Germany’ houses of literature.
