About Elke Schlinsog
Elke Schlinsog, born in Potsdam, holds a Ph.D. in literary studies and works as a literary critic for Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Prior to that, she studied modern German literature and political science at Humboldt University in Berlin, the University of Potsdam, and the University of Turin. In 2004, her book Berliner Zufälle. Ingeborg Bachmann’s “Todesarten” Project was published. Starting in 2003, she worked as a host and literary editor at Radio Bremen; since 2014, she has been a member of the literary editorial team at Deutschlandfunk Kultur and has hosted literary events throughout Germany and Austria.
