About Daniel Kehlmann

Daniel Kehlmann was born in 1975 in Munich. For his work, he has won honors such as the Candide Prize, the WELT Literature Prize, the Thomas Mann Prize, the Per Olov Enquist Prize, the Kleist Prize and the Friedrich Hölderlin Prize. Most recently, he was awarded the Frank Schirrmacher Prize, the Schubart Literature Prize and the Anton Wildgans Prize. His novel “Measuring the World” was one of the biggest successes in post-war German literature and his book “Tyll” also spent months on the best-seller list. Daniel Kehlmann lives in Berlin.
