About Kat Menschik
Kat Menschik is a freelance illustrator. Her garden book, “Der goldene Grubber. Von großen Momenten und kleinen Niederlagen im Gartenjahr” [“The Golden Grubber. Big Moments and Small Defeats in the Gardening Year”] became a long-term seller and was selected in 2014 as one of the 25 most beautiful German books of the year. Since 2016 Kat Menschik has been designing her own series of books for the publisher Galiani, including the best seller “Moabit” written by Volker Kutscher (2017) and Edgar Allan Poe’s “Tales of Mystery and Imagination” (2018). Each of these volumes is individually designed. In 2020, she and Mark Benecke released “The Illustrated Life of Animals”.
