About Dunja Hayali
Dunja Hayali has been presenting the morning show „ZDF Morgenmagazin” since 2010 and sports program „aktuelle sportstudio” since 2018. In her show, „dunja hayali”, she explores sociopolitical topics in special reports and discussions with studio guests. She wrote the books „Is’ was, Dog?” [What’s Up, Dog?] and „Haymatland – Wie wollen wir zusammenleben?” [Homeland – How Do We Want to Live Together?]. In summer 2021 she presented the political program „Für & Wider – Die ZDF-Wahlduelle” [For and Against – ZDF Election Duels], and on the anniversary of the catastrophic flooding in Germany’s Ahr Valley she will appear in the documentary „Die Flut – Zwischen Wut und Mut” [Flood – Between Anger and Courage]. She has received multiple awards for her work against racism and for diversity and democracy.
