About Catherine Klipfel
Since beginning her international career nearly 20 years ago, the Strasbourg-born pianist has earned a reputation with both audiences and experts alike as an outstanding soloist and chamber musician. Starting in 1998, she studied with Catherine Vickers, Boris Bloch and Michael Keller. In 2005, she founded the now internationally acclaimed Morgenstern Trio. Aside from her work with the Trio, she plays a broad repertoire of work in various duos and ensembles. Since 2011, Catherine Klipfel has taught piano, chamber music and repetiteur work at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She holds regular chamber-music masterclasses in Germany, France, Italy and the US, and teaches at the Chamber Music Center North Rhine-Westphalia.
