Tomorrow’s Love – with Şeyda Kurt and Carolin Wiedemann
Freelance journalist, presenter, speaker and author Şeyda Kurt focuses on political and cultural topics. In her bestseller, “Radikale Zärtlichkeit” [Radical Tenderness], she investigates our traditional love norms and relationship models in the forcefield of patriarchy, racism and capitalism. Because love doesn’t exist in a vacuum, it mirrors our society. And it’s political. As a journalist and sociologist, Carolin Wiedemann writes about gender relations, right-wing populism and digital capitalism. In her book, “Tender and Free”, she analyses the violence of today’s patriarchal domination, comparing it to collective queerfeminist practice. Kurt and Wiedemann discuss the question of how we can defeat the “isms” in our society and what new relationships and ways of behaving could look like. Love redesigned with radical tenderness.
