About Bjarne Mädel

Bjarne Mädel, born 1968 in Berlin, is a German actor. He came to the attention of a larger audience through his role in the television satire “Stromberg”. for his roles in the series “Mord mit Aussicht” and “Tatortreiniger”, Mädel has been awarded the Grimme Prize for Best Male Lead twice, the Audience Prize of the Jupiter Awards and the German Comedy Prize. In 2017, he received the LOLA in Silver at the German Film Awards for “24 Wochen” and recently the Bavarian Film Award 2020 for his part in „25 km/h“. He also won the Grimme Award in 2022 for his leading role in “Geliefert” [“Delivered”] and as director and leading actor in “Sörensen’s Fear”.
