Karen M. McManus' Debütroman »One of us is lying« stürmte auf Anhieb die Bestsellerlisten, so wie auch »Two can keep a secret«, »One of us is next«, »The Cousins«, »You will be the death of me« und »Nothing more to tell«. Ihre Romane wurden in über 40 Länder verkauft und sind internationale Bestseller. »One of us is lying« wurde 2019 für den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis nominiert. Karen M. McManus hat ihren Master-Abschluss in Journalismus an der Northwestern University gemacht und wohnt in Massachusetts.
